Rehearse a complete route with mixed packaging, an unavailable customer, a partial rejection and a container collection. Require the team to explain the starting load and every resulting quantity. Acceptance should include the customer documents, outstanding deliveries and approved financial adjustments, with unresolved route differences assigned to an owner before normal closure.
Understand the decision
The difficult part is often the vehicle’s return, when delivery paperwork, empty containers and damaged goods arrive together. Use ordinary warehouse and office roles to close the rehearsal. Include one missing customer acknowledgement so the team must follow an exception process instead of assuming all stops are complete.
Work through the requirements
- Load a route containing realistic exceptions
- Record each stop’s actual result
- Reconcile vehicle stock and customer obligations
| Record or decision | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Route rehearsal plan | Defines deliveries collections and exceptions |
| Vehicle stock bridge | Explains the complete physical balance |
| Closure checklist | States evidence required for acceptance |
What would a passing test show?
Use these hypothetical cases in a demonstration. Mark the evidence you have reviewed, then download the checklist. Selections stay in this tab.
Watch for this failure
A clean delivery demonstration omits the route-close work that often creates hidden adjustments. Require explanations for returning stock and containers, and do not accept a balancing figure entered solely to make the vehicle appear empty.
Continue the evaluation
This example defines what to verify, rather than promising a particular Odoo feature. Keep a record of the demonstrated result, configuration, unresolved gaps and person who accepts it.
