Define which logistics record provides delivery quantity and which provides condition evidence, then join them through stable shipment and lot references. Do not let a proof-of-delivery update imply acceptance of every case. The interface should expose missing or conflicting evidence for review while preserving the original documents and the person responsible for resolution.
Understand the decision
A carrier sends a delivery confirmation before a customer sends a shortage or condition report. A separate monitoring service may hold transport observations. The integration review should state what each source establishes and avoid turning one successful status message into a complete conclusion about the shipment.
Work through the requirements
- Assign authority to each evidence source
- Map shipment and lot identifiers consistently
- Route conflicting delivery evidence for review
| Record or decision | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Shipment key | Connects order carrier and receiving records |
| Condition reference | Points to the relevant reviewed evidence |
| Discrepancy queue | Tracks missing or conflicting information |
What would a passing test show?
Use these hypothetical cases in a demonstration. Mark the evidence you have reviewed, then download the checklist. Selections stay in this tab.
Watch for this failure
Connected temperature or delivery data does not itself establish compliance or product suitability. Define who interprets the evidence and what approval is needed before goods, customer balances or incident records change their operational state.
Continue the evaluation
This example defines what to verify, rather than promising a particular Odoo feature. Keep a record of the demonstrated result, configuration, unresolved gaps and person who accepts it.
